Drama Queen

Vi likes to throw tantrums... alot.. This was one in action.  Cryin' amd covering her mouth and then 10 seconds later being a ham... Such a drama queen.

I got mad at her for dumping out a new whole box of crackers.. see them all over?

Garbage Can Fun

Little A

Annabelle is a tough baby... hmmm... sounds familiar.  Vi was a tough baby too.  I thought for sure, I mean for SURE I would get an easy baby second.  Um no, apparently it doesn't work that way.  She actually was pretty good at taking naps during the day but recently she has converted to 15 minute cat naps.  Do you know what you can do in 15 minutes?  Nothing.  Oye.

She has however, gotten better at nighttime sleeping.  Finally.  A few weeks ago she started sleeping till about 2 am on average and then waking again around 5 or 6am.  I usually put her in bed with me at that point to feed her and catch a few more zz's.  She is usually up for the day around 6:30-7am.  I put her down around 9pm, so thats like 5 hours straight which to me is awesome.  Much better than the every hour waking she was doing for the first two months.  And yes she still sleeps in a swing.  I am sold on swing sleeping.  It's the only thing that has worked for both girls and I have talked to multiple friends who agree.

Little A has also been super smiley and talkative lately, especially when her big sister talks to her.  Aside from the few times V is too rough with her, you can already see how much she loves her big sister.

She loves the bouncy chair.  It is the only thing holding me together right now. I swaddle her and give her a binkie and rock it with my foot and she is out.  It's funny cuz Vi refused to sit in one.  Vi loved to be rocked in her carseat whereas A hates her carseat.  We can't drive anywhere without her screaming bloody murder.  No joke, she hates it with a passion.  Wierd that they are so similar yet their favorite spots are different.

Track Shoes

Everyone that knows me knows that track was a HUGE part of my life.  So I thought Miss V needed some track shoes...um, does it get cuter than this?

I had to include this one.. my little medicine hoarder... and yes I supervise her with these, even with the child proof tops.  She likes to pretend to medicate her dolls...

Ranch Addict

As I've mentioned before Violet LOVES ranch.  She dips everything in it.  Including fruit and cookies.  She even eats the ranch with a spoon, plain.  We go through ranch like crazy.  The other night I caught her on her hands and knees eating the ranch off her plate like a dog.  In fact, she was doing it with one of the dogs.   I think she let the dog eat her chicken nuggets first actually.  Who needs chicken when you have ranch?

Is a bottle of ranch an acceptable birthday present for a 2 year old?

Easter Egg Hunt

The day before Easter we took V to the Loomis Easter Egg Hunt at Clark Powers School.  I even made her a cute bucket for her eggs.  She did really well except for the fact that she wanted to stop and open her eggs in the middle of the hunt.  Prying the chocolate away from her after to get her to eat lunch was another story.

I was pretty excited for Easter this year since V is now 21 months and understands stuff more.  My next post will be about the Loomis Easter Egg Hunt we took the girls to.  Too many pics to do one post! 

So Easter morning V got to see her Easter basket, she was pretty excited.  She got stickers, fairy wings, the movie Tangled, Little People, a boat load of chapstick, necklaces, doll diapers and more.  The kid is spoiled.  After that we went to Easter Service at church.  I made the girls outfits, they turned out so cute.  Sewing with a newborn is stinkin' tough.  I never thought I'd get it done!  Sunday evening we went to my parents for dinner with all my sisters.  I love holidays with kids!

At my parents we did a small egg hunt for V.
