4 Months

Annabelle is now 4 1/2 months, she is getting so big!  At her dr appointment she weighed 15 lbs 1.5 oz which is like the 73rd percentile or something.  Vi was 15 lbs 5oz at her age. I sure have some chubby babies.  Annabelle has a bigger head than Vi did and is a tad shorter.  I think shes only like the 38th percentile is height.

Her tummy issues are still full force.  Lots of tummy aches and trouble eating sometimes.  Apparently she is eating enough though since shes so chubby.  Besides all that she is one healthy baby!  Her sleeping habits are non existant still.  She is a HORRIBLE sleeper which makes for one grumpy tired mama.  She literally still wakes up every 30 to 40 minutes all night long.  Like shes a newborn.  She has been sleeping in our bed more and more because it makes it a little easier on me to not have to get up over and over.

We attempted to sleep train her with the cry it out method the other night but it didn't go so well.  We put her downstairs in the office with a video monitor so I could see her and feel ok about leaving her.  She ended up screaming bloody murder for awhile and I chickened out.  I feel like she is a little young for it.  So we are gonna attempt it again when she is 5 months in about 2 weeks.

Uggg.. its so hard to do but I can only go so long on 2 hours of sleep a night.  I should probably take Nyquil and knock myself out so I can just sleep through it.  I don't plan on leaving her for the whole night cuz she will need to eat.  I was hoping to get her to sleep till about 12 and then go in if she cries to feed her.  Who knows, guess we will see how it goes.

Annabelle can roll over and loves to hold her toys now.  She has tried rice cereal and seems to like it ok.  We keep meaning to pull out her jumper cuz she seems ready for it.  She loves her toys that light up and loves when big sis sings to her.  This girl has the best smiles ever.  And the sparkliest eyes.  My sister Jess calls her Sparkle.  They literally light up when she smiles.

We are so greatful for our sweet Annabelle Faith!

Sister Action

I always forget to put videos on here! Here are a couple of the girls playing together.  Maybe a little play.. a little torture.  Annabelle is gonna be one tough cookie.

Hartwin and Vi

One of our german shepherds Hartwin, is Violet's best bud.  She goes out back everyday and just hangs out with him.  It is super cute to watch.  He totally lets her pull him around and climb on him.  I feel like he watches her when I'm not out there.  He is an awesome dog besides the fact that he chews all her toys.. uggg.. drives me crazy.

I came out back and couldn't see her... then I heard a Mommy!  Her and hart were under the bushes, I could barely see them, so stinkin' funny.

Hmmm.. never knew they made such good body stickers... and they go so well with the boots.

So last Sunday we were about to leave for church and  I couldn't find Annabelle's headband anywhere.  I knew Violet had been playing with it so I searched all around her toys and the random spots she puts things.  Couldn't find it still.  So we went to church with a diff. one instead. 

I went to pick her up from her class at the end and felt something lumpy by her butt as I was holding her.  I pulled down the side of her pants to see THE HEADBAND.  She was wearing it around her hips, like a belt.  Are you kidding me?  Her dad put her pants on and didn't even see it! Not to mention its a small headband for a 3 month old head and Vi is not exactly tiny.  I had to snap a pic of it.

Sisters

Water Fun!

I have been taking the girls to a couple parks lately that have water features.  We attempted this really big nice one in Roseville by the new bowling alley with a huge play structure, big water area and lots of picnic tables and shade.  Didn't go so well.  Vi didn't want to play in the water, she wanted to climb on the playground which is mean't for big kids.  The thing is super tall and super dangerous with all the openings at the top.  She is great at doing all the slides, no matter how big, but the openings scare me.  So I spent the day having to either leave A to cry on a blanket to go grab Vi or lugging A around and trying to grab Vi too.  Ugg.  I was exhausted by the end of it.

So we decided to try a different park right by our house on Rocklin Rd by City Hall.  It is perfect!  It has a small playground, swings, big sandbox, water feature, and picnic tables with covering.  V can do everything there by herself and I don't have to worry about her getting hurt.  Plus its never crowded and literally 5 minutes away.  She mostly plays on the playground, but sometimes will get into the water if she makes friends with other kids doing it.
