Violet's 2nd Birthday

I will be posting soon about Violet's birthday party but I got a lot of pics to go through first.  Her actual birthday was Monday and her party was the Saturday before.  We started the day with breakfast at the Ugly Mug, which we may make a tradition since we did it last year on her bday too. We decided to take her to the Sacramento Zoo for the day.  She has been to the Utah zoo when she was barely 1 and didn't really enjoy it.  I figured 2 was a good age to try again. 

Let me tell ya, she loved it!  She actually walked around the whole time.  I put her backpack/leash thing on her for the first time and didn't even need it!  She stayed right with us surprisingly.  She was obsessed with the monkeys.  That's all she wanted to look at.  She had her first ice cream cone and rode the carousel.  And of course we couldn't leave without  a stuffed animal. 

Annabelle did pretty well too.  She even sat in the stroller for the first time (sans carseat).  We had so much fun, Justin and I love the zoo as well and would gladly go without the kids too!
